When not looking at it so pedantically, people realize the link between playing Playstation and getting a rush of adrenaline. Playing is a drug, it's addictive.
Do you only ever play one song off Guitar Hero at a time? Do you not get a certain satisfaction when you hit 95% of all the notes?
i like the idea of this campaign, but maybe its because i am not a huge psp person i dont really understand the what each advert is trying to advertise, are they different types of games in each 'pill', the second one i think is advertising a car game, the third an army game, but wot is the first advertising or have i totally got that all wrong?
also maybe in this time of increased drug addition in the young maybe a pill is not the right way of portraying the rush people get from playing the psp.
Nope you're right, these are advertising different game genres - first ones for a sports game with the pill containing footballs and the capsule having a football skin texture on it.
Their target market are young people so maybe a pill is the best object to communicate on their level?
Love the minimalism & continuity.
ReplyDeleteIs it not saying that playing the PSP is pretty much like taking drugs, in which case - not such a great thing?
